WOW!
It's been over a year since I last posted a blog. Let's change that :)
Last month (as of this posting), Camille and I went to Daytona Beach, FL in celebration of her having a week off from her vet rotations. I won't have a super organized, detailed account of what we did, when, and where. But I do have some fun photos for you to look at.
The Beach
The quintessential destination. We ate at Joe's Crab Shack for the first time, which was as delicious as it was overpriced. The seafood dip was phenomenal, the drinks were refreshing, and the prices were absolutely out of line. Great experience, though.
We came back to the beach a handful of times to tan, play in the water, and take some cool photos.
The Garden
Dunlawton Sugar Mill Gardens has taken what was once a plantation where enslaved people milled sugar cane and turned it into a beautiful, photogenic nature experience. The grounds are adorned with famous stone dinosaurs, local flora, and a gnome civilization with surprisingly intricate infrastucture.
The Arcade
We only had about $20 in cash we were willing to blow, which turned out to be enough for over half an hour of fun (if you play the right type of games). I discovered that I am much better at Pac-Man than I remember. That said, Camille beat me in both ski ball and basketball... again. One of these days will be the day, but it was not today.

I'll do my best to make sure I include plenty of great photos of all activities in the full album, which can be found here.
Thank you for reading!
